Shipping

We offer free shipping on all Domestic orders over $35. For all other orders, standard shipping rates apply. 

Please allow up to 3 business days for your order to be fulfilled. 

International shipping rates will be applied accordingly. 

 

Troubleshooting Your Candle

Having an issue keeping your candle wick lit? The size of the crystals we place in each candle varies, this means that some candles may have extra heavy crystals that inevitably fall to the weakest part of the candle(the melted wax around the flame). This causes the wick to become limp and to sink into the wax.

There are a couple of techniques you may try to remedy this: 

  • Blow out your candle and allow the wax to cool. Using a pair of tweezers, remove the crystal and place it on a paper towel. You may need to retrieve the wick by simply wiping the access wax off of the wick, now allow the wick to re harden (this may take a few minutes to an hour depending on heat, humidity and environmental factors). Clean off your crystal and display it OR simply place it back into your candle, farthest area away from your wick.
  • If the wick seems to have sunk into the wax, you may be able to retrieve it by removing a small amount of hardened wax around the top. If you can not see the area where the wick is, apply a small amount of heat to the area using a blow dryer. Remove a small amount of excess wax and relight the candle for 10-15 minutes, blow the candle out and allow it to re harden before lighting again.

The herbs in my candle are smoking, is this normal? The answer is, YES! The herbs that have been placed in your candle are meant to smoke. All of the herbs we place in each candle are home grown and air-safe. Please reference your candle card to learn more about the benefits of Sage smoke. 

Note: Always practice safe candle burning. Do not leave your candle lit if you are planning to leave the room. Make sure all objects that may be flammable are kept away from your burning candle at all times. Do not place candles with open flame near flammable objects under any circumstances or on unstable surfaces. Keep away from children and animals. Use your judgement, if you see your candle is acting funky and may be throwing a little too much smoke or flame, please blow it out immediately. Like all candles, the glass container will heat up, please be careful when handling. The crystal inside of your candle will become extremely hot. Do not touch the crystal with your bare hands until it has been completely cooled down. Be patient. 

 

 

Return Policy

We accept returns within 30 days on all items unless "all sales final" is stated on the item description. We are not responsible for shipping and handling on returns unless otherwise stated.

Return Process: 

1. Email freyjabotanicals@gmail.com with "return request" in the subject line. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response as we are a small operation. 

2. Please send a photo of the product you would like to return and a description of why you would like to return it. 

3. Once we have reviewed the return request submitted, we will send details on where to send your item. Package the item appropriately and return to the address given. Depending on the size of the item, return address may vary. We are not responsible for shipping and handling charges unless otherwise stated. All returns will be honored however we review the return request before approving due to the fact that we may provide you with a free shipping code in certain situations as we see fit. We are a very small company and we ask for your patience as well as your honesty. 

4. Payments will be returned once the item has been received. Please allow 7-10 business days for payment to be returned.
